An Immersive Event of Intrigue, Mystery and Romance
EUSTIS ESTATE, Milton, MA
The ton is delighted by the much-anticipated wedding of Miss Juliet Harrington, famed matchmaker extraordinaire, and Lord Alaric Thornewood, noble of the Autumn court of Faeries and renowned dance instructor. Their union represents a rare happy pairing in an otherwise fast-changing political landscape, as the question of alliances between fae and mortals looms heavy. And it’s not the only thing looming— industrialization in fabric factories all over England has spurred a strong reaction from laborers once employed in textiles. The Luddite movement, which started as a peaceful worker-led protest at factories in Nottingham, has spread like wildfire throughout the country, escalating in scale and violence due to harsh economic conditions impacting the working class.
Nevertheless, the union is meant to be a happy occasion and time of celebration. Surely, nothing could go wrong on such a joyous day…
